2018 Winter and Spring Educational Opportunities

The MWWDA is an organization that “promotes, protects, and supports the interests of the water well industry to provide Montanans access to a safe and reliable water supply.”1 Attend the educational seminars during the annual convention and trade show to learn how to make your drilling procedures and business safer and better. Clint Kalfell, Montana 811 Representative, will be hosting a damage prevention presentation at 8am on February 8th to review new one call law changes and the safe digging process. Come and learn about the underground infrastructure and the dangers of contacting a buried utility. Tell us what you think about how we can improve our internal processes to better serve our users. Feel free to ask us any questions you may have, and learn about what steps you can take towards underground damage prevention. These events are designed for professional excavators, contractors, and member utilities to learn about the one call system, safe excavation, and understanding your rights and responsibilities under the updated Montana One Call Law. Studies of previous excavation accidents and how they may have been prevented will also be covered. Feel free to ask any questions and make comments during these trainings.
