Underground Facility Protection Advisory Council (UFPAC)
The Underground Facility Protection Advisory Council was formed by HB365, which updated Montana Code Annotated 69-4-5. It consists of 11 members, with one (1) member each from:
- Non-Public – Jurisdictional Pipeline
- Public – Jurisdictional Pipeline
- Public – Electric Distribution or Transmission
- Rural Electric Cooperative
- Telecommunications Provider – More than 50,000 subscribers
- Telecommunications Provider – Less than 50,000 subscribers
- Municipal Sewer or Water System
- Local Government Water & Sewer District
- Authority (as defined in 75-6-304)
and two (2) members representing excavators.
